Andriy Zholdak about production
This is the story of the antique myphologic history about the oath and the crime that took place in one of the royal family and about how the children of your children has got the punishment from Gods. Because of all of us are responsible for the actions of their parents, grandparents and great grandparents ( whether we like it or not). We are also responsible for own actions, tht we are doing today and this will has connectivity with our children and children of our children.
This performance will explore - on how deeply hidden cruelty in human being, in her/his subconscious (which does not exist or if sleeping) and at some point in history (of the country, family, human being ), this cruelty suddenly escapes and becomes a force that controls human. The question - what this is depth of cruelty, what does it has a depth of a human being - a kilometer or more kilometers. Why do people in certain situations more violent than the world of plants and animals?
Sister Elektra and brother Orestes restore fairness and through them Gods punish those persons who did the crime. Any small or big crime sooner or later be unmask and punished.
Now in the 21 century the question - «what is a human being (man) in extreme situations?» still remains unanswered as a thousand years ago. As Fedor Dostoevsky wrote - the human soul is in darkness and Georg Buchner — «if you look into the human soul, it is like to look at abyss, your head spin of which you seen.»
